LOVA was founded by Coach Carlos Luna — a Venezuelan Olympian (Beijing 2008) and 20+ year international pro — to give young athletes access to the same elite training he used at the highest levels. After a pro career across Italy, Greece, Japan, Spain, Qatar, UAE, Finland, Argentina and Venezuela, Carlos retired to coach and, in 2018, launched LOVA to deliver Olympian-level coaching to players, parents, and coaches everywhere.Â
Our vision is to be the most trusted online academy for volleyball education—bridging the gap between in-person coaching and digital learning—while raising the global standard of first contact, IQ, and mental toughness in the game. We don’t just train players; we develop athletes, coaches, and parents together through world-class mentoring, 360° development, and holistic family-oriented support.
Our mission is to equip competitive youth volleyball players, their parents, and coaches worldwide with Olympian-level tools, systems, and mentorship to reach their full potential.
What started as one coach and a clear belief — fundamentals under pressure win — has grown into a proven academy and club. LOVA trains players across every level: recreational, club (Open), high school, and college hopefuls. Our programs combine Carlos’s technical mastery of passing and serve-receive with modern sports science, deliberate practice, and a values-first culture.
We adapt techniques to your goals and pace.
Technical drills → tactical IQ → physical conditioning → mental resilience.
Parents are partners. Character and integrity matter.
Practical frameworks, drills, and feedback systems for coaches who want to level up
We don’t just teach volleyball. We build athletes, coaches, and families — together. Whether you want on-demand training, a weekend clinic, or year-round club competition, LOVA gives clear pathways so you know what to do next and why it works.
