Pro Position Lab — Participation Terms, Liability Waiver & Photo/Video Release

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. By checking the agreement box at checkout, you (the parent/legal guardian of the registered athlete, or the athlete if 18 or older) acknowledge and agree to all terms below, including a RELEASE OF LIABILITY and a PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE.

1. Assumption of Risk

Volleyball is a physical sport. Participation in PPL sessions involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, broken bones, concussion, and other injuries. I understand these risks and voluntarily allow the athlete named at registration to participate.

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and hold harmless Carlos Luna, Luna Online Volleyball Academy, Luna Volleyball Academy, their coaches, staff, and the host facility from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of ordinary negligence in connection with the athlete’s participation in PPL sessions. This release does not apply to gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize PPL staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for the athlete. I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses. I confirm the athlete is physically able to participate in high-intensity volleyball training.

4. Photo & Video Release

PPL sessions are regularly photographed and filmed for training feedback (including Olympian Eyes video analysis) and for LOVA/LVA marketing — including social media, the website, and advertising. By agreeing to these terms, I grant LOVA a perpetual, royalty-free license to use photos and video of the athlete taken during PPL activities for these purposes, without compensation. If you prefer your athlete NOT appear in marketing material, email ca****@*******************my.com after registering — training-analysis filming still applies, but the athlete will be excluded from public marketing use.

5. Cancellation & Credit Policy

Sessions are non-refundable within 48 hours of the session start time. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance receive a credit toward a future PPL session, valid for 6 months. No-shows forfeit the session.

6. Membership Billing

Reserved-seat memberships (Starting Six, Two-Way Player, Franchise Player) bill monthly and renew automatically. The monthly rate equals $85 per scheduled training session in that billing period — memberships are never discounted; they reserve the seat and include the listed bonuses. You may cancel any time before your next renewal date from your account page or by emailing ca****@*******************my.com; cancellation stops future charges and releases the seat. November bills reflect the Thanksgiving week off; December is billed as a half month (season ends December 12).

7. Code of Conduct

Athletes are expected to arrive on time, ready to train, and treat coaches and teammates with respect. PPL reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers others, with no refund for the removed session.
